Rooms and Facilities

Our hall is equipped with the following room and facilities.

Entrance Foyer: A bright area in which to greet your guests. From here you can access the Disabled Toilet which also has baby nappy changing facilities. This, together with the Ladies and Gents toilets have automatic lighting.

Main Hall: This 120 square metre (15m x 8m) room, with acoustic panelling, is suitable for a variety of uses, with a laminate oak floor. The hall leads out onto 2 paved patio areas and a pleasant garden, with grass and trees.     Portable staging is available for use.

The Broadley Room: A pleasant 19.5 sq m meeting room with a large bay window.

Kitchen: This has plenty of work surfaces, including a section accessible to wheel chair users, a Leisure dual fuel range cooker, a large fridge, dishwasher and a plumbed in water boiler. There is a serving hatch with electrically operated shutter, allowing the serving of food and drinks into the Hall.

Wheelchair friendly throughout – All Entrances, doors and disabled toilet facilities

WiFi is available throughout the premises.

Seating: There are 120 upholstered chairs for use in the Hall and 20 upholstered chairs in the Meeting Room.

Tables: There are 30 182cm x 76cm trestle tables and 13 86cm x 86cm trestle tables.

Tableware: There are dinner plates, tea plates, dessert bowls, tumblers and a mixture of cups and saucers and mugs to serve 120 people. There are also 120 forks, knives, dessert spoons and tea spoons. There are also several large plastic jugs available for juice/water.  We have a small number of wine and beer glasses, which we can hire out for use in the hall, only by negotiation.

Public Entertainments Licence: The Hall holds a licence covering the following:
Plays
Films
Live music
Recorded music
Performance of dance
Provision for making music
Provision for dancing
A Temporary Event Notice (TEN) will be needed for the sale of alcohol. This would need to be applied for from Harrogate Borough Council. The Hall is allowed 12 TENs per calendar year. Please check with the Bookings Secretary before applying for an alcohol licence.
