Mindful Movement

Mindful Movement is a gentle movement class inspired by yoga and accessible to all bodies.  Students are empowered to explore supported variations that accommodate their current needs exactly as they are in a safe space that is respectful and light-hearted. There is no dogma – no ideal shape or religious teachings – only the pursuit of ease of breath, self-kindness, and community.  Classes are designed to complement the arrival of each new season in recognition that our bodies change throughout the year as well.

Curvy bodies, seniors, the inflexible and inexperienced alike are encouraged to participate!  A perfect introduction to discovering the connections between the mind, body, and breath in a small class setting free from judgement or competition.Nerine has been practising for more than 20 years and holds several qualifications including a 500hr British Wheel of Yoga diploma, Silver Age and Menopause Yoga teaching certifications.  Her classes are a fusion of her diverse background which includes Therapeutic and Restorative Yoga.  All classes are LGBTQIA+ friendly and trauma-sensitive.
